The video opens from the seat of a blue and white sportbike rolling across a grass verge toward a black police SUV parked under a black canopy. The canopy is printed “Franklin Police Department.” Flowers are piled on the hood, and within seconds the rider is holding a bouquet of red roses wrapped in clear plastic in front of the cruiser.
The rider is Instagram creator @jessedalba, and he posted the reel with a one line caption: “The side of riding bikes we don’t talk about often.” Under it, he linked a fundraiser for the family of the young officer the memorial honors.
Partway through the clip, the camera swings away from the memorial and across the open lawn, the road and the low brick buildings beyond it, and his hand gestures toward a spot of ground on the grass. Then the camera turns back and walks the length of the cruiser, its door marked with the department’s seal.
The Fundraiser and the Photo on the Window
Later, a screenshot of the fundraiser page drops into the frame. It shows a young officer in uniform, a headline asking for support for his family, and a running total of donations. The final shots move under the canopy, where a printed photo and a small bunch of yellow flowers are taped to the cruiser’s window, potted mums sit on the grass, and the sportbike is parked a few steps away. Beyond tying the loss to riding, his caption does not explain what happened.
If You Want to Help or Pay Respects
Give through the link the family or people close to them have shared. Here, the fundraiser is linked directly in the rider’s caption and shown on screen with the officer’s photo; look for that match between the page, the photo and the people sharing it before donating to any page.
Leave tributes where the memorial is set up. In this video, the flowers, photo and potted plants are placed on and around the cruiser under the canopy, clear of the road.
