A routine drive through downtown traffic turned into a frustrating crash after one driver says another motorist made a baffling decision in the middle of an intersection. The moment, captured on dashcam, has since sparked debate online as viewers try to figure out what the other driver was thinking.
The driver later shared the incident in a Reddit post explaining how the crash unfolded in downtown Dallas, where traffic was already moving through a green light when the unexpected maneuver occurred.
A Confusing Turn in the Middle of Traffic
According to the driver who shared the video, traffic had already begun moving through the intersection when the situation suddenly escalated. The driver said they were simply continuing straight through the green light when a Subaru in another lane attempted a left turn across several lanes of traffic.
The problem was that the lane the Subaru was in was clearly marked for drivers to continue straight, not turn left. Instead of waiting or finding another route, the driver reportedly tried to cut across multiple lanes anyway.
That decision resulted in a collision between the two vehicles.
