Dodge is building exactly 270 of a special package to celebrate 90 years of Mopar, and it adds $10,995 to the price of a 2027 Charger. Pick the Scat Pack Plus and the sticker climbs to $70,985 before options.

It is called the Exclusive Mopar ’27, and dealers can start taking orders in early January 2027.

Only 90 Cars In Each Of Three Colors

The run is split evenly, with 90 cars in each exterior color. The shades are Bludicrous, Diamond Black and White Knuckle.

Of the 270 total, 243 are headed for the United States and 27 for Canada. Production starts in spring 2027.

The package is available on two models, the Charger R/T and the Charger Scat Pack Plus.

Carbon Fiber Hood With A Real Scoop

Buyers get a carbon-fiber front splitter, a rear spoiler and a carbon-fiber hood. The hood has a functional scoop.

Unique graphics round out the look. In the only official photo, the black and white cars wear blue stripes and the blue car wears black stripes.

Inside the engine bay there is a limited-series plaque, and the dashboard gets its own badge so everybody knows this one is special.

Do The Math, And The Charger R/T Jumps To $60,990

The base Charger R/T costs $49,995 before options. Add the $10,995 bundle and it reaches $60,990.

The Scat Pack Plus starts at $59,990. With the bundle it is $70,985.

That is a hefty jump for a package, and the 270-car run will limit how many people can get one.

What’s Under The Hood Is No V8

Both cars use Dodge’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six, called Sixpack. The R/T makes 420 horsepower, runs 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds and the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds.

The Scat Pack Plus gets larger turbochargers and standard all-wheel drive. It makes 550 horsepower, reaches 60 mph in 3.9 seconds and runs the quarter mile in 12.2 seconds.

Older fans will notice the missing Hemi, but the numbers are hard to argue with. A 550-horsepower Charger that covers the quarter mile in 12.2 seconds would have been a fantasy in 1969.

Where You Can See It First

Stellantis introduced the package on October 30, 2026, at the Mopar NHRA Las Vegas Nationals at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The cars stayed on display there through November 1.

From November 3 through 6, the cars move to the Las Vegas Convention Center for the 2026 SEMA Show.

A Fifteen Year Tradition

This is the 15th annual Mopar package tied to SEMA since 2011. A 2020 edition was canceled because of Covid-19, so the count should have reached 16.

The Charger-based series began in 2011. The nameplate returned in 2015 and again in 2023.

Past packages have gone to the 300, the Dart, the Challenger, the Durango, the Jeep Gladiator and the Ram.

The Same Week, Dodge Announced A Racing Comeback

The package lands in the middle of a big stretch for the brand. Dodge has announced a full factory-backed return to the NASCAR Cup Series, its first since the end of the 2012 season.

It plans a two-car team through Dodge SRT Racing alongside Kaulig Racing, with an on-track debut at Daytona International Speedway in February 2027. The new race car is scheduled to be unveiled on December 4, 2026.

For fans of the brand who have waited years for good news, a special Charger and a racing program in the same month feels like a pretty strong comeback.

R/T Or Scat Pack Plus, The Gap Is $9,995 And 130 Horsepower

The Scat Pack Plus starts $9,995 above the R/T before the bundle. For that money you gain 130 horsepower, all-wheel drive and larger turbochargers.

It also cuts 0.7 seconds off the 0 to 60 time and the same 0.7 seconds off the quarter mile. If you only plan to cruise to the diner, the R/T is plenty of car.

If you plan to hit a drag strip now and then, the extra cost buys a real difference on the clock.

How To Shop A Limited Edition Without Getting Burned

A limited package is only a good deal if you plan to keep the car or if the edition holds its value. Do not assume it will. Many special editions simply sell for the same price as a regular car once the excitement fades.

Read the dealer paperwork closely. Make sure the package is on the invoice, the window sticker and the order, and be wary of any dealer who adds a market markup on top of the $10,995.

Compare the total price to a similar Charger with a few options. The bundle’s cost works out to about 22% over the R/T’s base price, so ask yourself whether the carbon fiber and badges are worth that to you.

Think about insurance and financing as well. A $70,985 car carries real monthly costs, and a longer loan can leave you owing more than the car is worth after a few years.

If you do buy one, keep the box of paperwork, the plaque documentation and the window sticker together. Future buyers of limited editions always ask for them.
